Simeon invited <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oticon.ca\/\">Oticon<\/a> to our <a href=\"https:\/\/share.google\/t4zSIqPU43pMOmbw3\">headquarters<\/a> to test how the Oticon Intent hearing aids which are newly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bluetooth.com\/auracast\/\">Auracast<\/a>-enabled in the early days of 2026, work with our Audita III portable soundfield system. In fact, the testing was ridiculously easy. Through the Oticon Companion app, the Intent hearing aids connected to the Audita III Auracast signal in exactly 7 seconds. That even includes navigating the app, searching for an Auracast signal, choosing it and then connecting. The sound quality, you ask? Amazing! Just as it was when we tested the ReSound Nexia hearing aids, the Auracast signal through the hearing aids is crystal clear. There&#8217;s no question that Auracast enables improved speech intelligibility in ways that advance accessibility in live speech settings.<\/span><span class=\"white-space-pre\"> <\/span><span><br \/><\/span><span><br \/><\/span><span>Now that the Oticon Intent mini BTE hearing aid is starting to be used in Pediatric settings, we&#8217;re ready to bring Auracast into the classroom, simplifying the hardware set-up for direct-ear amplification.
