Hello, we're Auracast, your friendly bluetooth neighbor
I’ve spent the last couple of weeks connecting with various HLAA Chapter leaders about Auracast and I’ve been struck by several themes:
1. HLAA members are knowledgeable – they all came with questions, the deep, interesting kind. And it made our discussions so interesting to talk about applying Auracast to real-world examples.
2. HLAA members are passionate about hearing accessibility . . . and here is where we align. We discussed their Chapter advocacy in their communities and it involves a lot of outreach and education. I was so impressed with their advocacy.
3. HLAA members are experienced, and in speaking about their lived experience and what they’re looking to solve for, it helps me link our Auracast technology solution for small groups to the examples they shared.
They asked about our Audita III, the world’s first portable Auracast-enabled soundfield system and what type of spaces would be appropriate. And I was glad that each of them was impressed that the system comes with three microphones so audience members can participate in discussions, ask questions and provide their own insight. That’s obviously important whether it’s a lecture, book club, resume writing workshop or gardening class.
So today, on a Monday, I wanted to give a shout-out to all the amazing HLAA members who are active in their Chapters and are tirelessly working to improve hearing accessibility in a variety of public spaces.
