My wife took my Audita III demo unit and is now refusing to return it. She had been using our little Simeon Sprek for her small group presentations but when I knew yesterday, that she was going to present to a larger group of 40 people, I made the mistake of letting her use my Audita III. And now she’s refusing to give it back.
She reported it made a huge difference. Here is what her audience said:
– Speech Intelligibility = IMPROVED
– Listening fatigue = DOWN
– Vocal strain = DOWN
– Audience satisfaction = IMPROVED
– Hearing accessibility options = MUCH GREATER (especially now that she can offer Auracast)
These are exactly the types of congregate spaces with live speech that benefit from the Simeon Audita III, with accommodation for both Auracast-enabled hearing aids and those with T-coils. ( I still have to get her an Auracast receiver and one of our Simeon neck loops for anyone in her future audiences with T-coil-enabled hearing aids or CI’s).
For those worried, we won’t let this little confiscation of assets ruin things. She taught me years ago how to compromise. 🙂 I’m just happy she’s leading by example and demonstrating hearing inclusivity at her events.
